Handy 8 String Tablature Blank Sheets.
I made these for a few reasons.
First; I like the markings between the lines because with these old eyes the 3, 6 & 8 often look the same on the line.
Second; it's good to have them on my desktop where I can print them out any time I want them.
Third; I can resize them to my needs on the computer if needed.
Last but not least; Most tab stuff is for 6 string and I like 8 best, two more strings to get wrong!
There is one left blank in case you use some other tuning.

Hope some forum members find them useful.... Very Happy

This is very timely Andy.
I am preparing to transpose a number of pedal steel songs to non-pedal...especially C6 and B11.

Thank you for sharing!!!

Hate to do this to you but Ricky Davis posted some excellent ones with Treble/Bass Clef options in 2013.

https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=181603

I found them useful until I went to TablEdit.

Thanks Stephen,
I knew about those and they are good for some people.
Not all of us hillbillies read music so that just gets in the way and takes up space.
I play mostly by ear, but my right lobe is starting to get worn down.
Think I'll go back to picking with my thumb... Laughing
Also when we play by ear we have to move our head so fast it's hard to read the tab.

Hi Joe,
Interesting, we were in country at the same time. I arrived here Christmas Eve 1965 and did two back to back tours leaving in 1967. That was when there was "Light at the end of the tunnel".... Naturally when I left the light disappeared and the war was lost without me there. Laughing
Seriously though, I'll pm later to find out more about your time and where you were in country, what you did and so on. It would surprise you to see it here today. I've been back here since 1999 and love being here.

I only had 4 months stationed here in Saigon during my time then so never heard of Lam Hao in Cholon.
Did you mean he made a copy of a Fender 800? Would be interesting to try to track him down today. There are some lap steel players here. Some do Vietnamese music and some do Hawaiian and pop. Never met any of them, but see them on youtube. Think I'm the only one here playing a pedal steel.
Best wishes,
Andy
