Hi Amigo in Debary,
Thank you Colom. It's a beauty for sure. And, at a great price. Anyone looking for one of these will get mint, without the new guitar price.
Hope all is well with you.

Aaahhhhhhh, yes. If only I were a rich man. I've always loved these anniversary models since back when I was a young lad.
Boy oh boy, if I had the bucks I'd grab this little beauty. But for now, I'll just wish you good luck on your sale, Scott. _________________ Best regards,

Mike,
Thank you for your comments. I may change my mind before it's all done.
My Dad had almost the same guitar in '59., only in orange,
with the emblazoned "G". For sentimental reasons, I would love to keep this one. Maybe the "times" will make that
decision for me.
Best,
Scott |

When I was around 14, I saw my first Gretsch 6120 in red instead of the more common Western maple (orange). Its was love at first sight, lol. I couldnt afford it, but lusted
for it til I finally bought the same type I saw in 2006. a "1957 Gretsch 6120 reissue with the Dynasonic pickups and a little improvement to the 57 bracing in RED.) Will get sold from my cold dead hands, ha ha.
Still love the hollow bodies, the beautiful wood grain with the stained body. NOT painted like most brands. Most people not close enough to see the graining of these great guitars.
GOOD LUCK WITH THE SALE! ! CHEAP PRICE
