Mike, that sure is looking nice. A fantastic restoration! And great photographs that show the beautiful details.

Since "everything affects everything" I feel obliged to ask, is that a stray strand of braid from the cable shield?

No doubt you've dealt with that before. Smile

Well Southbound really did you proud for this re-fin Mike. It's destined to become one of the best looking push-pulls ever. Winking Your attention to detail is incredible.

Well thanks Ken. And yes, I will miss Southbound for future guitars. I guess the good new is I don't do all that many Lacquer guitars so it may be awhile before I need a finisher again. I am contemplating a new shop now so if that happens this summer I may just start doing my own finish work (yes I know how)... This guitar will be in Dallas if you end up going. I will be in the Eminence room with Travis Toy so stop by and say hello...

I just saw the video - Wow! What a beauty! To be honest, I never cared for the lacquer Emmons generally speaking - but the finish on that one looks amazing - like you could dive in and swim a bit! And the tone you are getting sounds great!

Love the work you do.

Enjoyed seeing the McIntosh 250 on you wall unit. You have great taste in gear.

My pal Randy Beavers playing Brownie. Randy is a great player and a great friend. too. This Emmons is really speaking out. Maybe the wood stop bar I put in added some magic... Enjoy Randy

Another masterpiece Mike! Brownie sounds as good as it looks!

I'm not sure I could give up these guitars especially after all the work you put into them. However, we are all better off (or some fortunate buyer is) for your willingness to do so.

Looking forward to the next project!

See you in Dallas...

Don
