Congrats to Lloyd Green, who will be receiving the "Founder of the Sound" award in Memphis Tuesday night at the Ameripolitan Awards. Very nice to see them recognizing a steel guitarist who truly is a founder of our sounds. Congrats, Lloyd, and see you there!

CONGRATULATIONS LLOYD GREEN!

it's fantastic to see Lloyd "back" on the scene and getting the recognition he has rightfully earned.

and our mouths have been watering for about a year to finally hear the new album with Jay Dee. it's a great year to be a steel guitar lover!

CONGRATULATIONS LLOYD, I once heard that, “It’s not over until the fat lady sings”, and we trust it will be a long time before she sings. THANKS, for keeping on, keeping on! Neil

Congratulations to Lloyd Green. What a track record, and still doing it.

Congrats to L. Lamar Green for a much deserved award. The creative capabilities are endless and perpetual. A sesquipedalean of the nth degree!

A friend of mine is spending the week in Memphis and going to a lot of the performances and says there are a lot of good steelers playing there this week with various artists.
I don't even know what Ameripolitan music is but it sounds like whoever is promoting this has the right idea.

Congratulations Lloyd. Well earned over decades of inventive and tasteful intros, fills and rides in thousands of recordings. One of my steel guitar heroes.

No one more deserving to be named a Founder of the Sound than Mr. Nashville Sound himself.
