On this instrumental is there a program where it's possible to subtract the guitar part and just hear the steel? Namely the David Hartley version. They are well blended it's hard to make out what David is doing. Thanks in advance.

Not the Haggard Live album, but The Strangers instrumental album version the stereo mix has the guitar in one side and the steel on the other.

Also Norm Hamlet playing his part might help a little...

Gotta see if there's a way to use pedals to avoid those slants that Norm executes so flawlessly.

Ron, the slants are G #5 moving up in whole steps. A-Ab kl 4th STR and 6th string every 2 frets!
