Hello,
I'm pretty new at the steel, and completely obsessed with Tom Brumley and Ralph Mooney's playing. I was wondering if there's a tab out there for the intro to "Foolin' Around" - I've done some foolin' around (pun intented) on my own to try and figure it out by ear to no avail.

Thank you.

Ian

Oh wow. Thanks Alan. I’ve completely forgotten that I had posted this. I appreciate the tab. I’ve sure come a long way since this post!

Cheers!

No problem, Ian. I did the tab for myself, and then looked back in the forum to check to see if anyone did it better, then I saw your post.

Steve Benzian has been a great resource over the years. He put out a number of good videos for beginners and has tabbed some interesting songs. Josh Yenne is building a catalog of tabs as well in recent years and he does very good work. I can't give these guys enough credit for what they have given to the steel guitar community. There are a lot of great guys out there helping beginners out of the goodness of their hearts.

Both of these fellows have put together videos on "Fooling Around." Sometimes when learning a new thing it helps to have it explained in more than one way. Since there seems to be some interest for it lately, here are the links:
