I wonder which steelbar Curly Chalker used?
If you look close on several youtube-clips like this at about 0:24, it looks like he played a bar with a pretty flat nose...

....I never saw Curly use anything but the BJS bar once they entered the market. That kind of looks like the MSA bar.

Boy, Curly was a tough player. It really wasn't until a couple of years ago that I developed an admiration for the way he played. I wish I were able to hone that type of skill !
