I'm embarrassed that it took me this long to do this because I got Christopher Templeton's The Tapper a long time ago and have always meant to proclaim publicly how great it is. Full of all kinds of steel styles perfectly executed. Great stories and writing. The musicians are all great, and that is all before the freakin' tapper. Whoa That is gone man.
Thanks Chris, everybody check it out!

ps, please post pictures of the steel tapper guitar.

Chris is a fabulous musician and his stuff is pretty deep! His spoken word stuff is excellent, too.

Thank you very much folks. That means a lot to me. I actually didn't start out recording with the intent of making a record. Recording was over a 22 year period which included analog recording through the transition to digital.
The second compensated bridge was design by Ned Steinberger for fretting/tapping in tune. It's a Sierra guitar.
This is the title track called "The Tapper". The solo starts with right hand picking/left hand fretting and works into tapping:

Jonathan, I see you have my record up: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCppxjyTrrpsPDuaKKqc24Rw
Nice dobro playing on "Ruby In The Sheets". Nice chord changes.
If anyone would like to purchase a cd, they're $16 shipped. PM me. Paypal works.
outside the lower 48 states, $24.

Chris- Why weren’t you the 4th Hellecaster? Great playing and interesting composition!

As far as the spoken word I hadn't heard this (The Tapper) before. It's sensational for lack of a better word, I'm digging it.
Cool guitar.
Yeah, I'm listening to the others, Luv 65 is outstanding.

Agree!

"Sometimes" is a very cool spoken word journey of a song:

The recording of the song "Paris" happened as mistake. I was playing steel for the Kauai Boys and they wanted to make a record.
Long story short, Buddy E. was slated to overdub on the record and the record didn't work out.
Since time was booked (Hilltop Studios, Nashville) I went ahead and recorded some of my songs.
Here's Buddy on "Paris" (he plays some early Korg unit, that had flute, at the top)

Thank you Buddy and Peggy. My memories are precious.
