Due to four surgeries in 2014 it is harder to play longer keyed guitars in terms of pedal reach so I am looking to replace my keyed steels.
This Williams is an 8 + 8 600 model in mint condition. Since I live overseas, I have played it only about ten times since I got it in 2009. The wood drips tiger maple, is blue colored and has real abalone setting off the blue color of the steel.
Because this was a gift from my wife for my retirement, I'd prefer to get a similar tiger, maple blue-colored model with at least 7 levers if possible but would consider another color in a wood bodied Williams
The first photo shows the truest color of the steel. The others are a bit dark.
For those interested in more information about Bill Rudolph's Williams Pedal steels, check out his informative site:

Thanks Steve t

Mike,
I know there are a number of excellent builders out there but Bill Rudolph and his son, Tim, make some amazing-looking cabinets. A stroll through the Pedal Steel for Sale section displays their work.
Bill also selects the wood himself and does not charge extra for wooden cabinets.
My wife is a keeper for sure; she suffered listening to me learning on my Market-Rite steel all those years ago. Stevet

I really prefer those style knee levers over what Bill is using now. |

Erv,
I had not realized Bill had changed lever shapes but went to the his site to take a look. I agree, these older style levers are wider but not too bulky and more comfortable on the knees.
I wish I had more photos here in China of the underside of the Williams for a better look.
Thanks for pointing this out, Erv. Stevet |

I have a like New Zum Trade or sale on forum but a beautiful blue tiger maple is something I don’t have it would be next to impossible to find one as nice as your Williams.
