1989 release - Buddy on C6th

I could practice those harmonic rakes for 100 years and never make them sound as good as Buddy!

Great find, Mike!
That's what Jeff "Skunk" Baxter used to refer to as " A three day weekend at El Ranchero Bebop"

The clips cannot be accessed from here, but I found the album on a cassette tape someone gave me a long time ago, so I could finally listen to them.
Great playing by Mr.Emmons!

Mike -

MAN does this bring back some special memories. Right after this CD came out, I was fortunate to see Laurie Lewis in a 'house concert.'
It was an amplified acoustic show (without BE) - but still quite the night. I recall the Sound Board was placed in the kitchen of a very old Townhouse/"Row Home" (located near the A-B brewery)

I just about wore this CD out!
Laurie is still out on the road singing and playing her fiddle. I encourage a visit to one of her concerts.

The title track from the CD contains special words and complimentary Dobro work by Jerry Douglas.

And Buddy's work is typically exemplary.

Buddy's playing on Texas Bluebonnets is amazing as usual. The piano player also knocks me out. I'm going to guess Mike Rojas. Am I right?

Thanks in advance.
