Howdy, I would love to hear from anyone who could describe the string spacing differences between Mullen's and Williams. I play a Mullen, love it but the string spacing is slightly close in my opinion. Wondering if the Williams is a bit more spread? Thanks for any help. |

On my Mullen the distance between the 1st and 10th strings is exactly 2 1/2 inches at the tuners and 3 inches at the changer. The strings seem to be spaced at about 9/32nd at the tuners and 10/32 at the changer.
On my Williams 700 the distance between the 1st and 10th strings is 2 1/2 inches at the tuners and 2 15/16 inches at the changer. The strings are spaced slightly closer but it feels fine.
I play and love them both. |
