Howdy, I would love to hear from anyone who could describe the string spacing differences between Mullen's and Williams. I play a Mullen, love it but the string spacing is slightly close in my opinion. Wondering if the Williams is a bit more spread? Thanks for any help.

Kent,
Another good place to ask is on the Williams group.

I just sold a Mullen D10 prp. I now play a 600 series Williams s10. i would say willy is a little more spaced out between strings. never measured though.

On my Mullen the distance between the 1st and 10th strings is exactly 2 1/2 inches at the tuners and 3 inches at the changer. The strings seem to be spaced at about 9/32nd at the tuners and 10/32 at the changer.

On my Williams 700 the distance between the 1st and 10th strings is 2 1/2 inches at the tuners and 2 15/16 inches at the changer. The strings are spaced slightly closer but it feels fine.

I play and love them both.
