Here is a video that is worth watching. This is one of the best steel breaks I have ever heard. Terry Crisp knocks this out of the park playing for Reba McEntire. The solo on the record is shorter but Reba gives him a longer break and he played a beautiful solo. Starts about the 2:11 point in the song.

Beautiful! Terry is another fantastic steel player who hasn't gotten the great recognition he so rightfully deserves.

I agree Dennis. You will find nothing bad anywhere on videos he has played on.

I love Terry's musicianship. I saw him with Ricky Skaggs in Derby (in the UK) in the '80s. Check out his version of 'Raising the Dickens' on Skaggs' 'Love's Gonna Get Ya'' album. Incredible chops!

Here is another video with Terrys nephew and another steel player, whose name I cannot remember. All three men play well but listen to the experience of smooth, clean and great tone Terry has. What a great player he is.

That is really beautiful! Wonder if any of the major stars these days would give the steel player (if they still had one!) such a long ride!

Kind Regards, Walter
