Looking for a Fender 400 but might also consider a 1000. Condition doesn't matter as long as it's all there with the original pickup. |

Instead of creating another redundant thread I'll just bump this one and add a "me too"!
I'm hunting for the same thing except want the later version, with the skinny Jaguar pickup, later model changer, and med/short scale. Looking for a player, not a collector's item, definitely...400 or 1000 would both work.
(Thanks Jim for the link, those guitars look great, unfortunately not the version I'm still after...maybe someday I'll be back for that Magnatone though!!) |

Mmmm 1963 transitional model, all of the MarkII shortscale accoutrements, except it has the stamped chrome pedals of the longscale model.. _________________

Cosmetically I'm not too much concerned about the pedals (assuming, per Basil, that that might work for my interest which is basically pursuing his copedent and style)...is it the later 23" scale? If so, what would you be looking to get for it? Danke schoen!
Edited 9 Jan...taking myself out of the running. Have one en route from Houston, now... |

I believe it is a 63, and the case is brown tolex, (I think original). |

Thanks I'm keenly excited!
Now, I just have to find the extra pedals...there's some on eBay but I don't know quite how overpriced they actually are ($55 a pop plus shipping, ouch, no wonder people part these things out). |
