I decided this weekend that the new baby needed a case. So after a trip to Hobby Lobby and Lowe's, I was able to put this together.
I still have a few pieces of hardware to add, like a handle, corners and rubber feet on the hinged side. Also trying to decide if I want to use the outside material for lid straps or if I want to try to order some brass to fill that role. Probably going to go with the material for now, and if it doesn't work like I'd like, then explore other options.
It's my first case build, but I think it turned out pretty good. I'd do a few things differently if I did it again, but hopefully this one will last long enough that I don't have to worry about it for this guitar. _________________ ZOYD FLOYD Lap Steel Guitar/LTD Viper 10 Electric Guitar/Hohner Acoustic Dreadnaught Guitar/Remo Cajon

Nice job Brandon. I like the union of pine and acrylic top.
BTW, nice job on the case too! _________________ Four Pettingills and a Clinesmith Aluminum. Fender Blues Junior. Quilter Mini-101. |
