I love the taper 2 3/4 ...

I measured my old red rajah tapered ( I have 3) vs yours ... Yours tapers more and I really like that.

The Butterscotch is my go to bar now ... Mucho Mahalos

Thanks, Rick, I appreciate the feedback, and always like to hear that a particular bar works well for you-let me know if you need anything else. I will be out of the shop for 9 days, Monday 11/20, returning Weds 11/29, for a bit of Thanksgiving vacation with friends and family members.

If you had one in Caterpillar yellow, I'd be interested.

I know the actual R,G,B formula for the specific shade of yellow. Email to discuss, if you like.

Thanks!

Thanks Tim, I’ve done one batch of yellow bars, and I don’t have many left, I’ll see if Caterpillar Yellow is available..I know it’s easy to formulate in paint from formula, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see it already available from a specialty powder coating supplier. I’ll check tomorrow.

I just got a few bars from Michael Hillman and like them a whole lot. They are very smooth and they sound great, especially on my high strings.

And on top of it Michael is very quick to help with any questions and also very quick to ship his product out. Nice guy. Check him out!

That’s a good deal! For the 2-for-1 deal, do they have to be the same size and color? Or could it be “equal or lesser value?” Thanks!

A Forum member asked if I had a 7/8” x 3 1/2” bar, this would be just an 1/8” longer than “Standard” bars. I’d make that size if there is sufficient interest....

I got mine! Very Happy

They're a little more grabby than my bjs bar which is kind of cool. Good warm tone to my ears.

The February sale is a good way to try out a new size. I got 1 7/8 which is my go to and a 15/16 to try it on for, err, uh, size.

Thanks, Michael, for the post and the photo - and thanks to all who support our powder coated bar project. We should have the first “standard plus” bars - 7/8” x 3 1/2” just before March 1st. The additional 1/8” adds just a little to our production costs, these bars will be $51.95. We will include them in the two for one sale, just contact me to reserve yours—-first colors are black, red, and white.

Hello, Michael. Thanks a lot for your great bars. Ordered my first last January (2017) and never felt disappointed since then. Very well-made product. Good positive grip, balanced sound from high and bottom strings, low string-zzz, warmer (than stainless or chromed) feel, good weight and eye-pleasing look as a bonus. Want more(but a little later). Strongly recommend to try. Thanks again. Mikhail.
Sorry, can't upload picture. My first try on SGF. I'll try again. Confused

Thanks to Mikhail, and thanks to all who support our powder coated bar project, we do have the first standard plus bars, 7/8” x 3 1/2”, these are black, red, white, and Harley Davidson Orange, $51.95. Still a couple of days left to take advantage of our February two for one sale for any of our bars. We will attend the Dallas Show in March, and we hope that any Forum members attending will stop by our booth in the Main Ballroom and say hello. We encourage anyone with old powder coated bars (just have to have the hole in the tail to allow them to be placed on a jig for sandblasting and powder coating) to send them to me, or bring them to me at the Dallas Show, we will take them on exchange for a new bar for $10.00. Thanks Again, Michael

Thanks, guys, great sale, we will do it again in August, on our 4th anniversary of selling powder coated bars on the Forum. We will now offer a second straight bar for an additional $15, if you purchase any straight bar at full price. A second bar is available for half price if you purchase a tapered bar at full price, domestic Priority shipping is included. We've had so much interest in the 7/8" x 3 1/2" standard plus, we are going to do the 15/16" bars in 3 1/2" length, although we are likely 6 or 7 weeks out from the first of those being completed. All lap bars, $36.95, standard 7/8" x 3 3/8", $49.95, standard plus, $51.95, 15/16" $56.95, and one inch by 3 1/2", $59.95. Inquire as to which colors are available in the various sizes.

vmhillman66@gmail.com (208) 867-5062 Thanks! Michael
