Can anyone tell me if the factory put decals on Sho Buds that did NOT say Nashville Tennessee under the Sho Bud logo??? They may have, the last couple of years of building guitars???
Thanks.

Yes, you see them on Super Pros that were made near the end of the production run. Maybe other models as well, but I think I've only seen them on SP's.

Thanks Skip. I think the one I saw was a 1984, near the end of production. I know toward the end they were using up a lot of parts and seemed to have some things that were inconsistent.

Yes,
The very older ones said Madison TN. Late 50's to early 60's.

Fred Gretsch had "Nashville Tennessee" removed when he bought the company in 1985 and moved it to Ridgeland SC. in October of that year.
