I have an early 80`s p/p with the LeGrande style pedals.
If I`d like to change them to the old wide style pedals, would that be a drop in replacement?
Thanks..... _________________ Olli Haavisto

No, they're mounted to the pedal bar differently. |

Erv is correct but the last wide pedals that Emmons used have same spacing if you could just swap pedal bars with pedals and all with someone that had rather have the LeGrand pedals or just find one some where which would probably be really hard to do. _________________ Henry Matthews

I have a 1982 Emmons push/pull that I bought new. It came with the Legrand style pedals, which I didn't like. Luckily for me, Billy Cooper had a pedal rack that had 10 of the old style pedals on it. He traded me, and added two more changes on my steel with the added pedals. Of course, he changed the whole rack, not just the pedals. Thanks, Tommy..... |

A friend of mine had Jerry Roller switch pedals for him.
Check with Jerry.

The guitar in question is a 12-string, so finding a suitable pedal rack would be really hard.
I guess I like the narrow pedals just fine. _________________ Olli Haavisto
