| A friend of mine who doesn't play steel, was telling me about a player he heard in Woodland, CA in the mid 70's, who was totally awesome, but doesn't remember his name, only the band name. Anyone know who this might be? -- Marc |

| I also remember him- matter of fact I went over to yak with him one day in Sacramento and he gave me a notch filter for my Sho Bud- he used to "scat" while he played- was hummin the notes on the mic whie he played a solo ala George Benson, etc- pony tail- nice guy- will think of the name~~~~~~~~ |
