I took several photos using my Samsung tablet (Android) and am trying to upload them to the Forum. When I get to the "browse" button, to select the photo, nothing happens.

I've uploaded lots of photos using my pc with no problems. This is my first attempt using this Android tablet.

Any suggestions?

Lee

Hmm. Looks like the "browse" button works in Chrome, but not Firefox.

It might be helpful if you file a bug report with Mozilla, the makers of Firefox.

Good idea.

Another issue, though.

Using Chrome I was able to upload a photo; however, it was turned sideways when it showed up in my message.

How do I correct that?

No idea why that's happening, but, faced with something like that, I'd just use one of the many apps available to rotate it in whatever direction needed, PRIOR to uploading, and see if that does the trick.

Firefox on my PC is becoming a nuisance lately, with updates that essentially cripple functionality in the purported interest of "security". It's to the point that sometimes, I have to resort to MS Edge to get the job done, and if this continues, Firefox is going to end up getting kicked to the curb here.

It's a work-around (and I always forget it's there because I've never needed to use it) but the upload box has the utility to rotate photos. Do you see it with the Chrome upload procedure?

Seems to me that the problem arises in the fact that he's not aware of any need to rotate them before he uploads. Then, afterward, it's askew. Life's so unfair... Winking

Lee, if you reduce the size of the picture it should print right.
