I am thrilled to announce my new musical project... Coming to a theater near you in the very near future...

"The Ronstadt Revue", the Ultimate Tribute to Linda Ronstadt

Featuring a truly remarkable vocalist, Gesenia Erolin, along with a top-flight band that recreates the arrangements and vibe of a full-length Linda Ronstadt concert, spanning country, rock, Mariachi and Great American Songbook standards - the complete revue. We have been in rehearsal for almost a year now and are so eager to start sharing this with theater audiences across the country.

Best of all, I get to be Dan Dugmore! I play steel and double on guitar for those great twin lead-guitar lines (think "When Will I Be Loved"). This show gives me the chance to play E9 country, C6 jazz, jazz guitar, and rock guitar. It's everything I love musically, all rolled up into one very hot show with one of the finest singers I've ever had the pleasure to accompany.

Please check us out and sign up for our mailing list at www.ronstadtrevue.com.

Meanwhile, you can watch our demo video at this link. (Hint: play it loud!): https://vimeo.com/247811475

Good luck, Jim. Sounds like a great show and worthy project. FWIW, tribute acts can be very rewarding monetarily as well as artistically. The one I was involved in went on for nearly 20 years. Now go make Mr. Dugmore proud.

Hey Jim! The video puts an exciting spin on your endeavor. It is really well done and whets the appetite for more. If you find your way to Boston, "I'll Be There." Best of luck to you and the rest of the tribute band.

The video is a great teaser for things to come. Let me know if you’re going to be in the Atlanta, GA area. Linda is one of my favorites and you guys nail it.

Great project, Jim! Nice recipe, combine well seasoned pros, ringer of a singer, there's a nice "brew." Should be fun!

I played the video for my best friend Steve and he loved it. He's a huge Linda fan. He was with us in Atlantic City with Buddy after the Everlys show years ago, Dave Van Allen was there too.

We're both looking forward to the tour!

Funny story, Steve was in L.A. on new years eve 1999 at the LA Forum to see the Eagles, with Linda opening, followed by Jackson Brown.... problem was that the tickets said show started at 8, but Linda came on at 7:20, and by the time they got in (8:00), Jackson was playing, so they missed her.

So, Steve never got to see her live and he has seen everyone literally, but her, and is looking forward to the Revue.

Have a great New Year Jim!

Nope, not a bit Roger. We're just interviewing a few booking agencies so we haven't yet started scheduling our shows. Smile

Congratulations to an exciting project, Jim! This is something I would make a big effort to come and see if you were to take the show across the pond.

I especially like the inclusion of all of Linda's different styles over the years – almost everything she's done is top notch, whatever the genre. This show deserves to be released on a BD/DVD for the rest of the world to enjoy!
