Howdy Dave- Hope all is well! Gene's steeler is Danny Naccarato.. Heck of a guy and an excellent player. Very good on sax, too! Take it easy! RP

As of yesterday, I'm no longer with Gene. A number of reasons but my business responsibilities and the rigors of the road, at 61 that road does nothing for retirement.
It was a great run for 6 years. We did 70-75 shows a year, meaning 130+ days gone, with many hours driving to and from the bus.. It's a great gig, but a large time committment.
Great bunch of guys and I will miss them.

Of course. He loves steel and would never do a show without one.

Hey Danny:

I understand what you're saying and doing full well. You did an awesome job with Gene my friend..!!

I spent nearly 15 yrs. on the road back when, then left that scene due to family illness. Yesterday, I submitted my retirement letter to The State of NY effective one yr. from now when I'll have 30 yrs. time in. Hard to believe...!!! Then it will be more bass-fishing and hopefully, more music.

I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Also, a Merry and Blessed Christmas.

Stay well Danny.

Danny enjoy your "retirement" from road work. Tiny you won't know how you had time to work after you settle into your new life when that time arrives. You are both great guys and musicians. I hope to run into you somewhere in the future.

Robbie Primm from Shreveport will be taking Danny's place.
Danny, best of luck on your retirement from the road. You were excellent and will be some mighty big shoes to fill.
