My Mbro's power section has failed.
No sound at all after replacing the 2 batteries.
One of the batteries was abnormally hot to the touch.

I'm no tech at all, so does anyone know of a fellow member who does repair? Since this unit has served me so well over the years, I'd like to attempt some repair before disposal.

Thank you.

Jim Palenscar and an associate took over the Goodrich biz, and do repairs.

I repaired mine. I contacted Kevin at the new Goodrich but as there is no "official" schematic they can't really fix them. I got a hand drawn schematic of one model (there are 4 different models that I know of) from another forum member and was able to fix mine, but I consider it "by luck".

You can send it to me, but there is no guarantee that I can fix it.

"One of the batteries was abnormally hot to the touch."

Anybody else ever had this happen, regardless of what effect pedal was used?

On the plus side, that usually means a dead short. Those are easier to find.

Been in touch with Kevin at Goodrich over the weekend.
Like Jack says - no schematic. So, he cannot promise repair.
But, Kevin says he'll attempt it with no charge if unable to fix. Nominal bench charge if he can.
I'll probably start with sending unit to Goodrich.

Thanks for everyone's help.
