I assume like most of you, you have a drawer full of steels. My goto steels for the last few years have been the Beard 2010 (or is it 1020) and the sheerhorn. The beard is the one I use most often.

But today, I received lap dog as part of an instrument I purchased. Man, that is a hell of a bar. It felt instantly more comfortable and had a great sound. I had heard about them before but thought it was just exaggeration. It is my new goto steel.

Yup, I agree.
I just bought a Long Dawg two weeks ago, mostly because
I have hands like feet and I really like it. Very comfortable.
