Telecaster with McVay B Bender. Players guitar in good condition. Lightweight body from Wood N' Guitars with light clear lacquer finish. Neck is an early 1990's American Standard neck. McVay neck inserts were also added to the neck when the bender was installed. Pickups are Seymour Duncan Vintage but not sure of the exact model. Guitar weighs 7 lbs on my bathroom scale. Soft sided case is in good condition and functional. $700.00 plus shipping from 62025. Postal MO preferred. PayPal ok but buyer pays the fees. PM or email with questions or for additional pictures. Thanks.

I don't know this bender but it looks as though it works on a similar principal to the Glaser.

Kenny, how long is the lever "throw" on the McVay? Is it adjustable or fixed? And is the spring tension adjustable or fixed?

Thanks - Jim

Oh, yeah - is it played with a strap peg attached to the lever or a lanyard? If a lanyard - attached where, generally?

Thanks for the great questions Jim

The bender is activated by the lever on the back of the
guitar at the neck plate. The strap attaches via a
strap lock. The pull tension is completely adjustable.

The McVay is a medium throw bender. I do not
believe the throw is adjustable.

Check out the McVay Bender website
at mcvaybenders.com. He goes
over the adjustment and such in very good detail.

If I wasn't buried in B-benders I'd be on this in a nanosecond. I can recommend this bender without reservation based on conversations with other owners and having owned a similar Glaser.

The price of the McVay bender alone is, as I recall, more than half the entire selling price. This is a helluva deal IMO, especially with an American Standard neck..
