Steve,
I believe it is an EXL1. One floating pickup as apposed to the two humbuckers.

I have done swing/jazz recordings using a mic only and it sounds very authentic. Obviously not like an Gibson L-5 but still pretty good.

The action is very good. I have had it about a year and only played out with it on a few jazz trio gigs I didn't have it set up it as good right off the rack. Set up with light gauge set now but if you are a real jazz or swing guy you might want to go heavier.

Any thoughts to trading this beauty with cash on a modern smooth SD10 4/5 pedal steel?

Thanks Art. What do you have in mind? I have a Mullen and a Williams at the moment but it never hurts to look.

Sorry Art, I probably need the money more than shelling out money and getting another steel. At least I know that's what the wife would say. Hurricane Irma has taken the gas out of my GAS.

Feel for you friend. Realizing the bank was screwing me hard on interest (.03 %)
I semi screwed me. Bought Sho-Bud S10
6139. And Speedy West 1975 S10 on Oct25 and thought I was thru. Ah, so untre, lol
While discuss a Beard custom and, waiting for pricing up pops a ZB D11/10, IN GREAT SHAPE, at a great price I caved in quickly n bought it 2. Now lawyer wants more money in a redo of my ex's one sided divorce settlement. So regretfully I must sell the Walker that I also love

Gary
2 more questions:

what is the depth of this guitar and what is the width of the lower bout at the widest point. The one I am looking for has a 17 inch lower bout and is 3 inches deep. This appears to be the guitar.

I have been reading some on line reviews and am not sure I am reading about this guitar...but the answer to those two questions will clear things up for me.

Thanks in advance.
