Like many of a certain age, I have always loved the Beatles. Hope you enjoy my lap steel guitar arrangement of one of my favorites, "I Will."

Thank you, Chuck - outstanding arrangement and playing! This is one of my favorite Beatles tunes - a beautiful song that you've shown is very well suited to steel. |

You mean those of us who encountered them on the Ed Sullivan Show in February of '64, when we were kids, and it changed our lives?
Beautiful song, very nice arrangement. |

Nice job Chuck.
When I was taking lap steel lessons in the '60s, the songs we learned were mostly country, Hawaiian, gospel, and a few standards.
I kept bugging the teacher for Beatles tunes and we were given a couple of ballads in the vein of I Will, like If I Fell and Michelle.
Sheet music - no tab. I had to decipher those charts to be able to play them on my Supro. Brings back memories of being holed up in my bedroom and practicing. _________________ Mark |

Thanks, again, guys. Mark, I just finished tabbing out "I Will" for the PSGA Newsletter (their 45th year comin' up). Working up an arrangement for a well-known tune is kind of like hacking out a trail for others to use as they see fit. It's always exciting going off of the tab/ trail but well worth it.

And your musicality is excellent.

Thanks again, guys. Over the years, I've played "I Will" on the pedal steel, Dobro and lap steel. It has always been a favorite. I'm thinking of performing it at the SWSGA annual show next month.
