Bill,
It's super on all metals. Look at this endplate. Took 5 to 7 minutes.




I did the inside of the case too/ Got rid of the black spots were the aluminum rubbed
Just used upholstery cleaner and cheap white cloths

Looks awesome, John. Did you completely recover the case, or simply glue down the loose areas? If recovered, how? What type of glue? That spray on fabric glue?

Tim,
Case is not recovered. that's the old stuff. glued back down with contact cement.
I cleaned the inside with upholstery cleaner from Blue Coral. Used cheap white washcloths and my collection of old toothbrushes to get into the corners,
