Yes it's in Open D tuning but musically I transposed it to the Key of A.

I like the contrast of the low bass notes with the melody . . nicely done.

Yes, that was very enjoyable. It's a beautiful song.
I will 2nd Frank's statement about your lessons by saying I really enjoy them.
For a beginner like me with no chance to get in person or skype lessons they are a life saver.
I am going a bit slow but I am having a great time.
Which brings me to my question: any chance that may become a lesson?

Lovely, Troy. More folks should try Open D on electric steel. There's a world of music in that tuning.
