An odd question I know, but could someone measure the dimensions of their D10 pedal steel ? I dont currently have one, but want to build a platform cart for it to ride on and want to get a head start on the project. So if someone has a D10, would they be so kind to measure the length and width at the base of the legs, I would appreciate it. (Mine is a Carter but I would think most D10s would be approximately the same size. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Don, that is wanted to know...my Rickenbacker D8 console is about 17 inches wide, so not that much different.
Thanks again, that gives me something to start with !

Well I think I am going to build it 22" by 40" and then I have the bases covered...might have room for something else on the cart that way anyway.

Hey Larry, I think I understand what you are trying to do but I would not think you should built it a lot bigger. I would stay close to the 18" x 34", maybe a inch bigger. Of course you would want to add for some foam to be glued in so the guitar will be supported firmly. I could build you what you want if you want to send me a PM we can talk about it. I am an old Carpenter by trade. Just a thought! J.R.

The "footprint" for my Williams keyless S-10 is a whopping 16" x 29". Razz
