I used this ceramic bar for years and really liked the sound of it. Then I dropped it and it broke. Does anyone know who made it? I'm pretty sure I bought it at the ISGC in St. Louis.

I recall seeing Scotty play his frying pan with a ceramic bar at a local show and when I asked him about it he told me they were made years ago and the company was long gone...... Good luck, if you find one I am sure you'll let the forum know! _________________ Red Emmons D10 fatback #2246D with sweet Hugh Briley split cases, Black Emmons S10 #1466S, '73 Fender "Snakeskin" Twin Reverb, Peavey Nashville 400, Line 6 Pod XT, Fender 400, Fender Stringmaster Double-8, too many guitars, one bass! |

It's not just that it's ceramic. There are lots of ceramic bars available. This one was heavier because of being hollow and filled with shot. It had a unique feel and tone. I'd really like to find out who made it. _________________ -𝕓𝕆𝕓- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |

Have you tried Winchester or Remington, lol. Never seen anything like that. Bet it was unique feeling. _________________ Henry Matthews

Hey Bob,
I have one of those in Blue color that I will send you if you want it. I bought it at the Texas Steel Guitar show and never used it. I'll be happy to send it to you. I can't remember what size it is. Just send me the address. _________________ Just north of the Weird place, south of Georgetown |

A guy in Dallas made "red Rajah" bars a number of years ago. I don't know anything about their construction, only that they were red. He was a steel player. Chuck Bratton was his name. He ran a small guitar store, called "Guitar Center." i believe he died a few years ago as well. |

The one I have is very light, I don't think it has anything in it. _________________ Just north of the Weird place, south of Georgetown |
