Perry Como 1952 - Hank Snow Singing "Music Makin' Mamma From Memphis". Who is the steel player?
You only get to see him in the opening picture of Hank singing and you don't hear him much if at all. I might have missed it.

I thought Kayton Roberts was the only steel player who gigged with Hank Snow?

At one time or another, there have been Youtube videos of Hank using Jimmie Crawford, Howard White, and Gerald Merhar on steel.
Most likely others too.
In addition to Talbot and Roberts, he also recorded with Jerry Byrd----but I don't know if he performed live with Jerry.
Hank was 20 years older than Roberts and had recorded steadily since 1936. It stands to reason he had a lot of steel players other than Kayton--who I don't think toured with Hank prior to the mid 60s somewhere. |

| Hank Snow's first steel player was Canadian Johnny Beaudoin. Buford Gentry followed, then Big Joe Talbot. Kayton Roberts was the last, beginning in 1968. |
