How about another Jam? Remember, E.R. is looking down on us lets not let him down. We all need to keep the fire burning for steel guitar and all the friendships that have been made over the years. We never know when the last time will be to see some of our loved ones and friends of steel guitar. I challenge all of you to help support another "JAM & Cram", Jam some steel guitar and Cram some friendship.

Steel buddy,

Allen Howington

It's all about this mechanical "Monster", and it's beautiful music.

I agree Allen, I think the last event not far from Asheboro turned out to be a less than expected event.

NC is a tuff state for distance and roads. You cant get from Charlotte to points EAST easily and you can't get from points East to Charlotte easily !

Raleigh to Charlotte is near a 3 hour drive. Then if we try to have an event East of Raleigh, well that adds a new dimension.

The Kannapolis location seemed pretty good, I wonder if it's available ? But it was still one heck of a hike for those on the Eastern side of the state.

Maybe Greensboro, maybe Burlington ?

Good topic though, I'll help...

I used to go to Saluda now and then, it was just around 2.5 hours , then they moved it almost another hour further away. I doubt I will ever attend again, I don't even consider it.

thx
