Yessir Garry. A real country song with great steel intro, fills and solo.

I caught a glimpse of the Show-Pro. I thought it was Spencer Cullum.

If my eyes are right, I thought that I saw a glance
of Paul Franklin at the CMA's.
If not, it was a good close...........

My wife and I watched an episode or two of Stranger Things while recording the CMAs. Then we played it back so we could fast forward through the commercials and the acts that were just too rock and roll or whatever - only way I can watch those shows.
I paused it when I thought I saw Paul Franklin in the audience. That was him or his doppleganger.

I didn't watch the show for all the various reasons mentioned, but I understand Paul was one of the nominees and so he was in attendance.

Yes that WAS Paul Franklin sitting there in that camera shot. As Herb just said; he was nominated....but yes I actually saw the shot you Fred are asking about; and yes that was Paul.

Generally Speaking successful musicians are pretty intelligent. Successful Hollywood people too. Loved the show, especially the beginning and Miranda. Saw some good football today too, Hurt my knee at the beginning but it’s okay now,

The CMA awards show should be about the CMA and apolitical. There was too much irrelevant content to suit me, otherwise it seemed as disjointed as ever.....

....but, it was the first one I've been able to watch in it's entirety for a few years.

Yeah, I caught the glimpse of Paul and it was good to see Alan Jackson with Robbie Flint on steel even if Brad played on top of him a bit.
