My single coil pickup I like best is not working correctly. All of a sudden it started sounding thin after over a year of having no problems whatsoever. I have checked all the variables and I am certain it is the pickup. It was an original pickup in my slimline model guitar wound to 17 K. I have a few other Dekly pickups I've acquired that are wound much heavier and they aren't giving me what I want. I am in the process of finding someone to rewind a few of the pickups but in the mean time I am wondering what some other pickups people have had luck with in a Dekley. And I am aware that putting in a different pickup in will require widening the cavity for the pickup. If anyone has any insight I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

I used George L E66's in mine and it sounded great!

Played 5 different Dekleys and used BL705's on both necks and they are super great sound. Try one.....PC
