Todd made me a beautiful Robinson 10 string model. I had him fit a Keith banjo tuner on string #7. In C6 it does C-C# [or in E6, C#-D to make E13] at the flick of my wrist.
Also in the pic- an amp I made from an old suitcase with a Quilter Micro block amp. It's inside with a little analog delay wired in. 40 watts, weighs nothing. Great vintage sound.

The amp has a 12" Alnico speaker from a Baldwin organ rig. eBay cheap. I used it last night in a fairly large dance hall with drums, piano, electric guitar and amplified standup bass. I put a mic on it and it was great. I used Helms-ish E6/13 for the first set, C6 for 2nd set. Vintage breakup when I pushed it but it handles the low C on C6 tuning just fine.
