For those of you with Peavey 400 amps (Nashville or equivalent), where do you set your gain knobs? Pre and Post?
I know that Post needs to be higher than Pre. Just wondering about changes in tone with different settings. |

I normally run mine with 'Post Gain' at near full volume. The stage volume I regulate with the 'Pre Gain' setting. |

Indeed. Post/master dimed.
I usually run the pre about 4 or 5,and adjust volumes with my foot. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

The pre gain send should be set at a lower level than the post gain. The post gain sends the signal to the input of the internal amplifier. |
