Should be an awesome guitar. I have one of the first D-10s Carson ever built. If you really want to know the year I can probably give you the latest phone number I have for him and you can call him and ask.

yes Sir, great guitars, I had D10 way back, and it also was an amazing steel... I wont bother Carson ... age of the steel is not important unless we are talking about very early Emmons or Bigsby guitars, or some vintage collectable stuff like that... but thank you, I appreciate your help...

Bump, nice pro steel, man I see quality build under neath 'this steel wow. Look at the gorgeous ingrave work. Price is right pro steel for economy price. Look at those end plates took big piece aluminum to mill those makes for solid build no wobble when u hit knee levers.

That CW looks like the one I had for 4-5 years. Great guitar and tone to the eternal bone. I would still have it if my back hadn't gotten so bad. I sold it to a player from Austin and the last I heard he was in LV,Nv...I now have a Desert Rose, S-10 with a half pad and I love it like I did the CW.The Desert Rose is somewhat lighter than the CW. Carson Wells was great when I took the SD-10 to get repaired or whatever.
Same with Chuck Back, great to do business with...jr
