Newer nigh end guitars tend to be brighter than the old classics and lots of people prefer them. This may be happening in the world of violins as well.

Now if those Stradivari had developed a push/pull violin, there would be no question of the superior sound.... just don't blind-test it!

Think about that a second, Douglas. Wouldn't bowing a violin be the original push/pull concept?
