Received my Bullet Cables from Erv Niehaus today. They are the best cables I've ever used. I just can't say enough about the difference these cables made. Jimmie Coward

I've never been one to notice a difference in cable sound. Do you notice an improvement in these?

Not meaning to demean Bullet Cables, that I am sure are a very good product, but have you compared them against this?

Please note that I am posting this strictly in a joking manner, as I cannot believe that this (or any) cable can be worth this asking price. Maybe if it made me play like Buddy Emmons it might be worth it. And as far as I can tell, this cable is not a joke, but maybe the joke is on me. Very Happy

I was an electronics engineer for many years. I did not then, and do not now, accept that the presence of oxygen in or on a copper wire affects its ability to carry signals - including phase delay and frequency response - in any discernible way. I mean... c'mon, guys, copper oxidises in air, it's impossible to prevent it, just as aluminium develops an oxide coat.

Who is kidding who? And how is it that this has not been debunked yet? Or am I the one who is out of line?

The Bullet cable is of very fine quality and is priced comparable to other solderless cable.
Take it for what it's worth. Very Happy

Yes, Erv, a bad cable can be microphonic *and* contribute to "tone suck" by having excessive capacity, and a good one will stand on its own merits. But all my researches indicate that the obsession with "oxygen free" copper is effectively a hoax in the music/hi-fi game. It certainly has valid applications in the scientific field though.
