I have a J Mascus Fender Jazz master. Had the neck off for over a year while having pickups rewound, rewiring and a custom vibrato roller bridge. Finally got to putting the neck back on and it's twisted slightly. Enough so that I can't adjust it to play comfortably.

Thinking of a replacement neck but other than spending a ton of money on a Warmouth, what other option is available?

Mighty Mite on reverb.com is a decent price. The J.Mascis is a Squier though right? I don't know if the replacement necks would be the same as Fender. Usually, there are differences in the two.

Fender.com offers parts, but don't see anything on their site for Squier replacement necks.

Thanks Jerry,

I checked out a company called USA guitars and you get a Jazzmaster neck base price for $195 and choose the radius and fret style. It's unfinished and you supply the nut. No big deal but I want the truss rod adjustment at the peg head not the bottom of the neck.
More questions to come....

Any chance that it is covered by warranty?
Perhaps it can be repaired using some heating treatment.

Right, Squire is a LOGO name OWNED by Fender and contracted out to be built across the pond. Just like Epiphone/ Gibson. Squires are not Fenders and Epiphones are not Gibsons, so factory replacement parts "FIT" can be an issue for each. Before spending $195 for a neck be sure the dimensions are the same. Or make sure you can return it !

I have seen across the pond Telecaster necks that HAVE fit common Tele bodies and several that did NOT fit, and vice versa, just be aware.

let us know how you make out...

Took dimensions off the bottom of the neck and want the truss rod adjustment to be at the peg head on the new neck. You can also choose the style fret you want. I have contacted two neck mfgs and waiting for answers.

The current neck is not bad but I have spent a lot of time and $$ on this guitar so a few hundred more to get it right is OK.
