Hello,

I am a part of a new band with acoustic and electric steel guitar here in France named KANIS & LOU, with classics at the repertoire.
Here you can find the Facebook page
https://www.facebook.com/Kanis-Lou-1320564924671988/

And two videos from our first gig in Paris, 2 months ago:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIWdsUWm_Lc

I try to do my best playing these great guitars, a vintage National tricone and a good old Dual Pro Smile

I receive so much knowledge from this forum, glad to take part of it with this modest contribution.
Paolo

Thanks for your words Ron, Joe and Kay, glad you like it!
Ron I remember this picture with the hyena, ah these good ol' days hugging wild animals in Ethiopia Winking
Concerning the tricone side, I have just ordered what will probably be a AMAZING guitar, a Fine Resophonic from the English luthier Mike Lewis. I'll post video and sound when I get it, in 3 or 4 months

I was watching your clips some more, and another cool thing is the interplay between the 3 of you guys in the band. If that's your first gig, this band is going to be great! I'm getting a kick out of your singer's French take on Hawaiian language Very Happy
Are you getting one of those maple hollownecks? I've been wanting one of those for a while..

Thanks for your kind words Tim and Mike, I really appreciate!

Ron, indeed I will get a maple hollowneck tricone. I was lucky enough to play several resonator guitars the last ten years, old ones as vintage Nationals or Dobros and new ones as NRP and Scheerhorn, and to my ears Mr Lewis' wooden tricone is among the really best. To be honest I make dreams about this guitar Smile

Thank you Roman and Terry Very Happy
It's a young band and I am really excited in playing more and more with it. A double bass player and/or a drummer-percussionist or both should join the group in a near future, I look forward to hear how it will sound.
Again thanks everyone for the kind words, it's a big pleasure to receive support from here where I find a great help to learn this lovely instrument.
