It did not work for me. I could still hear faint voices in the back ground. _________________ 78 Emmons PP,Great tone.82 Emmons SKH #56 |

It depends on how the original track was recorded and mixed.
Some vocals can be lowered enough that you won't hear them
at all when playing steel with them. Others can't be lowered at
all. In Audacity click on effects and go to the bottom and click
vocal remover, and there's a couple different ways you can try.
I usually go to YouTube and type the name of the song or artist
and type (karaoke) after the name. Find the track I want and
download it, then I convert it to an MP3 file load it in Audacity
so I can normalize it to -1 db and add a click track before the intro. _________________ aka "Lucky Kay"--Custom built Rittenberry SD10 3X5, Walker S/S, NV-112, and Hilton Pedal |

Hi Mark, I use Pazera Free Audio Extractor 2.3
This is a free program that extracts audio from many files.
You just drag the one or many tell it where to save them
to and click on convert. It works great with no audio loss.
If you have a lot of YouTube videos you can do a lot at once.
