Don,
I have a few sets of backing tracks made up. The ones I have are for gospel, Hawaiian and Christmas.
They are done with BIAB and I use them when I play solo.

My latest Old Standard is "Imagine", written in 1971 by John Lennon.
I had a request for this song, and I'm embarrassed to say that I can't remember who requested it. Whoa!
So please drop me a line. Very Happy

As I was driving home from the Wisconsin steel show I was scanning the air waves and a song caught my attention.
It was "Since I Don't Have You".
This song was written back in 1959 and is sort of a doo-wop song. I believe it was originally recorded by The Skyliners but has been recorded by several others over the years including:
Ronnie Milsap
Gun n' Roses
Johnny Mathis
Rick Nelson
& Don McLean

My latest Old Standard was written by Bob Hilliard & Burt Bacharach in 1962: "Any Day Now".

Ronnie Milsap had a good recording out of this song.

I just finished up another Old Standard last night.
It is a song from the '60s and I always associated it with Bobby Vinton, the Polish prince: "Wooden Heart".
Elvis performed it in his movie, "GI Blues".
