For a long time, I've been bothered by the fact that people who resell steel guitar courses are taking sales away from the people who publish those courses. While it's a boon to beginners on a budget, it hurts this vital cottage industry. I've come up with a solution:
Instead of giving a small percentage of these sales to the forum, resellers should send 20% of the sales price to the original publisher on completion of a sale.
In the replies below, you will see addresses of publishers. If you are a publisher who wishes to be included, send me your address and I'll add it to the list.
Once a publisher is listed here, it becomes forum policy that a 20% commission/royalty must be paid to the publisher for each course that is resold on the forum. Ads that appeared before the publisher was listed are, of course, exempt, but it would still be a good idea to send the commission. It's just the right thing to do. _________________ -𝕓𝕆𝕓- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |
