Hi all. I would like to say thank you to Jim Palenscar for sharing his knowledge of Sierra guitars with me. I needed to clean remove, clean, and lube the changer on a 12 string that I bought recently. After removing and tearing the changer down, I saw what I thought might be some problems. With Jim's advice over the phone I was able to correct those problems and reassemble it. It is back in the guitar and I am now changing it to Ext. E9. I am moving the A B and C pedals one position to the right so that I can reach them easier. I am also moving the E's raise and lower to the left knee. I am beginning to think I enjoy working on guitar as much as I enjoy trying to play them. Once again, a big thank you to Jim for all of his advice. Jr. Watts

Indeed, Jim has been great to deal with, and the parts he makes are better than the OEM stuff...outstanding craftmanship....

Per your quote - you're one step ahead of me, I enjoy thinking about working on them as much as I enjoy playing...but every now and then I do get to it. Wink

I can't tell you how many times I've bugged Jim Palenscar about my Sierra,
and time after time he has been right there, helpful, and forgiving of my lack of knowledge.
He also has parts nobody else has.
A great all-round guy to work with.

Thanks for the nice words. It is my pleasure to help as these contraptions can be a bit daunting at times.

Jim has been halping me in the difficult installation of a set of
LKL2, LKV2 and LKR2 all calling for serious shoehorning and rodding decisions.

He has been most gracious and helpful in all ways.
Bravo!
Thank you Jim!

Jim is not only a godsend to those of us who are befuddled by the undercarriages of our steels, he's also a great player.

I was fortunate enough to, hear him on a gig. He was most impressive.
