I talked to Wally the other day and after a couple of years contemplating, we both agreed that I should post some video of him at the ISGC.
So here is the first of several to come.

Post more please! Used to see him in STL back in the day. All us budding steel players went to see him just to be depressed.

| Bill, Thank you for this posting. I often wonder about Wally and his whereabouts. I remember seeing him at the ISGC years ago and was floored by his playing. Naturally being a fellow Missouri boy, I was proud to call him a idol of mine. Please post more. |

Wally lives around Orlando, FL and has a real day job.
He picks regularly and Herby Wallace III plays drums with him.
I hope to see them over Thanksgiving while we are in Orlando at our daughter's. |

| Bill, please tell Wally the folks at home miss him at the Steel Shows. I have a vinyl 33lp in my collection bought at Scotty's after seeing that performance in 95. Best wishes to Bill for all you add to this Forum and to the Steel Guitar Community. |

Bill, I would love to hear again the time he played William Tell Overture, think it may have been around 95 to 97, I was there and I'm still blown away by how he played that tune.---Henry
