I just found out that long time SoCal pianist Clyde Griffin has passed away. I'm not sure of the cause yet but if anyone knows, please post it on here. Here's an old shot from 1968 from Al Bruno's facebook page of Al, Dale Bennett and Clyde standing and the late great drummer Archie Francis and steel guitarist Carl Walden sitting....JH in va.

Sorry to hear of Clyde's passing. I worked with Clyde on the Johnny Moseby band in the late 50's. Clyde was a lot of fun to be around and play with. I also remember his wife at the time, Thelma. Back then we played at the Shamrock in Lomita, Ca. and the Jubilee Ballroom in Baldwin Park, Ca.
