Don,Do you know if the steel has the split tuners on it,that would be the hex screws on the changer end,as i do use them to split certain strings, there is not a picture of that on the pictures your son sent.that is a function I would need. If so could you have your son send a picture of that end of the steel.Other then then that looks good.

a friend of mine named jim had a mullen just like that. i wonder if that's it. it sounded wonderful. that's a good price on a loaded up steel. i can't remember if his had split tuning. i think so. if not they could be added.

I don't know why this hasn't sold. It is a good price. I have a single neck Mullen and they play smooth and sound good.

Mickey or Don,

What is the purpose of the rod going down the centerline of the Mullen undercarriage? It has a spring in the middle and a brass piece at each end.
