Sometime ago a request was posted here on the Forum for the tablature of Curly Chalker's Danny Boy.
A good while back, Tom Bradshaw ran a Record and Cassette Club, in which he provided newsletters.

Bob Grossman had tabbed out Curly Chalker's version of "Danny Boy" in one of those newsletters. Curly's recording was on his "Counterpoint" album.
Bob found a copy of it and Tom asked if I would add the musical lead line.

I made some changes, put it in TablEdit, which actually provided the entire music staff, and am posting it here for everyone to enjoy.

It is as close to Curly's version as Bob and I could come up with. There are a couple approximations to keep from needing Curly's entire setup.

Instead of a pedal setup, the actual string changes are shown:
# - half tone raise
X - whole tone raise
b - half tone lower
bb - whole tone lower
bbb - tone-and-a-half lower, like the 8th ped-10th st.

You'll find most of the standard C6 pedals and levers in the tab. What's a little less common is the 4th string going up a half tone to Bb, and going down a half tone to Ab.

Hope you like it.
Fred

Ok ..now I understand .... instead of pedals numbers as usual, (4,5,6,7,8 and knee levers) ... you wrote the amount of raises and lowers ..
Thank you Fred. You're the guy.
Thank God I have this LP converted to mp3

Had the tab listed above years ago, but when I sold my D10 steel and replaced it with the 12-string ext E9 steel, I transposed this version (as best as I could) to the ext E9 neck.
Anyone interested, let me know. Also have version of "The Shadow of your Smile" transposed to ext E9. Jeff Newman's version.
