Split-Tail, Cut Tail, Bolt-on, Wrap-around, Push/All pulls…

I’m not sure I understand the differences, and I don’t think there is a single thread that captures it all(there’s been a lot of miscellaneous tidbits, but, nothing connected – and, I know there’s a lot of knowledge in this forum-seen some gorgeous pictures, too.)

This may seem like a lot, and, I wouldn’t expect anyone to write a complete history- but, if everyone chips in with a tidbit, or two, after a few days, (well, you know how it goes) could have something fairly complete.

So, wuddaya think? Where do we start?

What’s the difference betewen the split and cut-tails?
What’s the bolt on changer look like? What other changers were made?
When did they stop making PP’s?
When did they stop using the decal and start with the raised emblem?
